First Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated prior to First Communion, usually when a child is in Grade 2. Children must receive the Sacrament of Baptism prior to their Frst Reconciliation. Preparation for and celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation takes place during the Lenten Season.
First Reconciliation Celebration
The preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a very special part of the ongoing moral and spiritual education of your child. Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Parish will offer our First Reconciliation Classes prior to the First Communion Classes. All children who will be entering into the First Communion Classes must attend the First Reconciliation classes.
Registration forms will go out to all children that are known to be baptized Catholics, who attend our Catholic School.
If we have missed your child or your child does not attend the Catholic school please contact the parish office for a registration form. (780-865-3045)

If your child was not baptized in Hinton, please bring a copy of his or her baptism certificate on the first day of classes.
